EU, Azerbaijan trying to sign strategic partnership agreement
The European Union and Azerbaijan are trying to sign a strategic partnership agreement acceptable to both sides, Malena Mard, head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, told reporters on Friday.

She said the agreement will cover the rule of law, trade, economy, democracy and other areas.

Mard noted that Azerbaijan will be given grants for ensuring the development of the rule of law, justice and districts.

“The grants, which are part of the European Neighborhood Policy and the Eastern Partnership, will amount to 75 to 90 million euros,” she said.
