Education to be one of priorities in EU-Azerbaijan co-op in 2016
Education will be one of the priorities in EU-Azerbaijan cooperation in 2016, Malena Mard, head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, told reporters on Friday.
Mard said that the EU plans a 3-year project of 19 mln euros with the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan, which will focus on the vocational education.

The EU considers education important in terms of the future development of each country, she noted.

“We have recently launched the Twinning project which aims to bring Azerbaijan’s education into line with European higher education,” Mard said, not ruling out future initiatives in the field of education.
