BTK may become more expensive
"The terrain of the areas where the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project is being implemented is very difficult", Azerbaijani Minister of Transport ZIya Mammadov said the press conference held after the meeting of the Trilateral Coordination Council on Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project.
The minister noted that the project will be launched in early 2017: “Since the mentioned period, a new window will be opened between Europe and Asia”.

Mammadov said that the project cost makes $775 mln and this will be more expensive: “The prices of materials raised on the background of global economic processes. The price rise will be researched and results will be submitted to the government”, Mammadov said.
