Commuter chaos as `dangerous` crush at tube station triggers emergency alarm
COMMUTERS reported a
At Seven Sisters passengers reported rammed conditions as the station was shut and commuters asked to leave to relieve platform congestion.

Travellers were reportedly screaming at staff to open the emergency exists as panic ensued as alarms were set off.

She said: "They set off evacuation alarms but carried on letting people into the station.

"The alarm scared people so they were pushing to get out.

"A man was screaming at the staff to open the emergency exits as nobody could move."

Staff shut the station between 8.43 and 8.59 as the platform became overcrowded as passengers switched from the Tue to overground trains.

User Sezzera posted a picture of the overcrowding at Seven Sisters saying: “Regarding #SevenSisters tube station.. Overcrowded & just like an overload of ants sprawling everywhere.”
