President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of 35/6kV “Nizami” electrical substation as part of his visit to Ganja.
The head of state was informed that the construction of the substation started in April, 2015. The new substation will supply electrical power to more than 6,000 consumers. It covers an area of 1,700 square meters. It consists of two 35/6kV 10MW transformers and a 35/6kV Germany-made facility.
The administrative building of Ganja City Electrical Network is located here. The substation and administrative building will employ nearly 80 people.
