Meeting of Azerbaijani, Turkish, Georgian FMs underway in Tbilisi
The 5th trilateral meeting of the Azerbaijani, Turkish and Georgian Foreign Ministers Elmar Mammadyarov, Mevlut Cavusoglu and Mikheil Janelidze, respectively, kicked off in Tbilisi Feb. 19.
The meeting will end with the adoption of a joint declaration.

The declaration will emphasize the importance of projects on regional cooperation among the three countries and state a stance on the conflicts Azerbaijan and Georgia are concerned by, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesman Hikmat Hajiyev told.



The declaration will express respect and support for the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and internationally recognized borders of Azerbaijan and Georgia, said Hajiyev.

During the meeting the focus will be on regional projects joined by the three countries, especially the development of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project, and the TAP and TANAP, according to the spokesman.

Hajiyev noted that the ministers are also expected to review the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.
