Traffic movement to be restricted in Baku due to Khojaly anniversary
The traffic will be restricted in some streets and avenues of Baku due to the events to be held on occasion of anniversary of Khojaly Genocide.
The Baku City State Traffic Police Office (BCSTPO) told that in order to secure comfortable, safe and uninterrupted movement of participants of the national mourning ceremony which will take place on Feb. 26 in front of the “Ana harayı” (Mother’s cry) monument situated in the Khojaly avenue, from 8:00 AM to till the end of the ceremony, movement from the streets of Yusif Safarov, Najafqulu Rafiyev, Afiyaddin Jalilov, Izzet khanim Orujova, Fazail Bayramov, Sabit Orujov to the Khojaly avenue will be restricted and the direction changed.

The BCSTPO recommends citizens make less use of personal cars and instead use public transport in the aforesaid directions.
