Azerbaijan continues developing rapidly despite all the difficulties, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said.
The president made the remarks at the 2nd Ministerial Meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council in Baku Feb. 29.
The head of state mentioned that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict still remains unsolved in spite of the UN Security Council’s four resolutions which demand the occupiers’ withdrawal from Azerbaijani lands.
President Aliyev pointed out that despite all these difficulties Azerbaijan’s development is uninterrupted.
“Our country is implementing major projects. We have diversified oil and gas pipelines. Continued cooperation is vital,” he added.
He then invited the meeting participants to join the third meeting of the Advisory Council in 2017.
