New military unit opened at the frontline area - PHOTOS
In accordance with the instructions of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev opened a regular military unit, the press service of the Defense Ministry told.

The leadership of the Ministry familiarized with the objects in the new established military unit, in the frontal zone on March 10.

Addressing the staff of the Minister of Defense, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov said that under the plan, last year 10 military towns were put into operation: "This year is also planned to build and put into operation more than a dozen of modern military towns. I want to note that the Government attaches great importance to the development of the Armed Forces in all directions. Increased combat readiness of the army, military units equipped with the latest weapons and military equipment, improving social conditions of personnel, shall be in permanent and temporary use of the apartment. Equipping the army with the high destructive power of weapons will continue this year. Personnel should without ceasing, day and night raise combat readiness to meet the expectations of the state and nation”.

“We are faced with such a sacred task, as the liberation of our lands from occupation. Our soldiers and officers who are serving at the frontline, in the front, show heroism, professionalism. They do not give the enemy the opportunity to raise his head. The enemy suffers great losses. We will continue our just work, and defeat the enemy. We will kill damned enemies, who committed the Khojaly genocide and killed innocent people, we avenge our martyrs and liberate our lands", said Z. Hasanov.

The Minister congratulated the staff of the military unit on the opening and on the upcoming holiday of Novruz.

Defense Minister dined with the soldiers, then he familiarized with the conditions of production in the bakery, met with the civilians work here, gave guidance on the supply of personnel.
