That’s surely the only way to describe this monstrous sea-creature that has washed up on a tourist beach in Mexico.
The hideous 13-foot beast was found on Bonfil Beach in Acapulco, Mexico – and it’s understandably left people scratching their heads.
The floating, rotting corpse of the mysterious beast was washed up on the shore by strong currents that have been affecting parts of the Mexican coast.
Rosa Camacho, coordinator of the Civil Guard and Fire Brigade, believes that the animal had not been dead for a long time – but it has now started to rapidly decay.
She said: ‘We have no idea what type of animal this is, but I do know that it does not smell bad or have a fetid aroma.
‘It is four meters long and was found on Bonfil Beach.’
Pictures of the strange beast have since been shared thousands of times online – with some suggesting that it might be a type of giant squid, while others believe it could be a whale.
More realistically, it’s probably a sign of the apocalypse.
