Azerbaijani diaspora held protest action in Sweden, Stockholm - PHOTOS
The representatives of Turkish and Azerbaijani diaspora organizations held a protest action in front of the parliament building in Stockholm, Sweden, AzVision.az reports.

They protested against recognition of the so called `Armenian Genocide` by the Swedish Parliament.

The recognition of so-called `Armenian Genocide` in 2011, March 10 by the Swedish Parliament means putting pressure on Turkey and to violently break European law. Such kind of events, happened at the beginning of the last century, should be investigated by scientists and courts, but not by politicians, the protesters said.

`As the `Genocide` concept was emerged only after 1945, it can`t be referred to 1915 events. Noting the biased approach to the problem, the participants reminded the latest resolution adopted by the European Court of Human Rights and France Court.`

In the end, the participants submitted a request to Riksdag.

Though the representatives of Armenian diaspora tried to thwart the action, security forces prevented this.
