Azerbaijan seeks its citizens among victims of explosion in Ankara
The Azerbaijani embassy in Turkey has not yet received any information on whether Azerbaijani citizens have been injured in an explosion in central Ankara on Sunday, an embassy representative said to AzVision.az.

"We have not received any information so far," the representative told AzVision.az , adding that the embassy was checking whether any Azerbaijani citizens were injured in the blast.

Earlier in the day, a major explosion hit central Ankara, 27 people were killed and 75 injured in an explosion on Sunday, Cihan News Agency reported.

It said at least 75 others were wounded in the blast that occurred near Ankara`s main square.

The explosion is believed to have been caused by a car bomb that went off close to bus stops.
