According to the minister, the forum will bring together 2,500 participants from 120 countries. Some countries will be represented at the presidential and ministerial levels.
Garayev said that the forum will also attended by 423 volunteers selected from among students of different universities.
Speaking of the forum’s global importance, the minister said the event will be live broadcast by television and the Internet in six languages.
Eight events are due to take place in separate halls.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will participate in the 7th Global Forum of the UN Alliance of Civilizations to be held in Baku from April 25 to 27 this year, Azerbaijani Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev said on Thursday.
