Azerbaijani President offers condolences to Russian counterpart

Azerbaijani President offers condolences to Russian counterpart

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolence to Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

The message reads:

Dear Mr. Vladimir Vladimirovich,

I was deeply saddened by the news of a heavy loss of life in a crash of a Boeing 737-800 passenger plane crashed at Rostov-on-Don airport. On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf I extend my deep condolences to you, families and loved ones of those who died and the whole people of Russia.
