Ilham Aliyev expresses condolences to Russian president

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has expressed condolences to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin over heavy loss of life in a crash of a Boeing 737-800 passenger plane at Rostov-on-Don airport.

"I was deeply saddened by the news of heavy loss of life in a crash of a Boeing 737-800 passenger plane at Rostov-on-Don airport.

On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I extend my deepest condolences to you, families and relatives of those who died and the whole people of Russia".
