Brussels airport bombs didn`t detonate properly due to shipping error
Investigation reveals, not all the explosive devices were denotated while Brussels assaults company.
The perpetrators of Tuesday’s attack were not able to detonate all the explosive devices that they had prepared at the Brussels airport because of an error made by a transport company, which provided a taxi to the attackers, media reported Wednesday.

According to the Derniere Heure newspaper, the transport firm’s employees made a mistake when taking the order from the terrorists and sent a passenger sedan instead of the requested cargo taxi. The taxi driver did not allow the passengers to take all of the baggage, which contained the explosives, so part of it had to be left behind.

According to the newspaper, one more bomb was left behind at a suspected terrorist’s flat in the Schaerbeek district of the Belgian capital and was later found by police during a raid.

On Tuesday, at least 31 people were killed and some 260 injured in two bomb blasts in the Brussels Zaventem airport and an explosion at the metro station in central Brussels.
