Nigar Mammadova was born in 1973 in Baku. She received her bachelor’s degree from Faculty of Applied Mathematics of the Baku State University and master’s degree from Science in Finance of Brandeis University, USA. She held different positions, including head of market operations department at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
