Ministry of Finance calls NGOs on submission of annual financial reports
According to Article 29.4 of the law on non-government organizations (public unions and foundations), non-government organizations are due to present their annual financial reports to the Ministry of Finance by April 1, the ministry
According to the statement, the form, content, and rules of presentation of the annual financial reports of non-government organizations were approved under the Cabinet of Ministers’ Decision No.201 dated 25 Dec. 2009 and the normative legal act was placed on the website of the Ministry of Finance. According to Article 31.8 of the aforesaid law, annual financial reports must be presented to the Ministry of Finance in 30 days.

Furthermore, a web-based reporting system has been created for the Ministry of Finance to be able to receive annual financial reports from non-government organizations online. NGO may submit their annual financial reports online after registering on www.qht-hesabat.maliyye.gov.az

NGOs which do not submit their annual financial reports will receive administrative penalty under Article 247-1 of the Code of Administrative Offences.
