6.1-magnitude quake hits Papua New Guinea
An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale jolted 120km NE of Angoram, Papua New Guinea at 19:24:56 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said, AzVision.az reports citing Xinhua.
The epicenter, with a depth of 14.75 km, was initially determined to be at 3.433 degrees south latitude and 144.9489 degrees east longitude.
