The world focused its attention on the contactline of Azerbaijan and Armenia after the strikes on April 2. As we mentioned before, the brutal fights were carried out in Gapanly, Garagaji villages of Tartar region and other directions of the front line.

Currently, the situation in the Gapanly and Garagaji villages has stabilised, special correspondent of AzVision.az to Tartar region told. The residents continue their normal lives. There is no need for any turmoil and panic.



The opposite side has violated the ceasefire with Azerbaijan on the frontline in Tartar and inflicted strikes on the settlements for several times. The Azerbaijani Armed Forces silenced the enemy with retaliatory strikes.

The enemy diversion has brought severe damages to the Gapanly and Garagaji villages. The roofs of some houses collapsed, livestock died. Moreover, the strikes made some residents` cars useless.

The village residents stated that the enemy side struck unpredictably at night, on April 1. Furthermore, the Armenian Armed Forces inflicted non-stop heavy artillery strikes on the settlements on April 1.

Moreover, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces inflicted a heavy blow on the opposite side on the course of bloody fights.

The residents denied the facts that they had not not faced any turmoil. They will not only leave their houses but also fight against the enemy.



“We have not fled from our village. We do not think of fleeing. The current situation is stable. The residents are ready to fight. If there is a need, we can go to fight. We are waiting for the order of Supreme Commander-in-Chief. There are falsified news on social media that as if we leave the villages and flee. Don`t believe in such news. Everyone are at his/her houses“, the residents said.

In addition, they highlighted that they are not afraid of the enemy and ready to die for motherland: “We trust our Supreme Commander-in-Chief. We are on alert to carry out his order. Yesterday our army destroyed bravely the enemy unit. We gained a great victory over the enemy.

Currently, Barda Central Regional Hospital is treating the wounded residents of Garagaji village. They are in good condition.



Doctors said that they keep the wounded residents - Etibar Mammadov, Anar Huseynov and Huseyn Guliyev under the control.

“Above-mentioned patients` conditions are normal. No life-threatening condition reported. We keep them under the control. The residents with slight injuries received first-aid and are discharged. There is no need to worry“, the doctors added.



The Armenian Armed Forces has inflicted strikes on Seyidimly village of Tartar region for several times today.

Conforming to the last-minute information, the situation is stable in Gapanly, Garagaji and Seyidimly villages of Tartar region.
