The Azerbaijani parliament began a plenary meeting on Tuesday.
After opening the meeting, parliamentary speaker Ogtay Asadov first spoke of the latest developments on the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenian troops, noting that whenever Azerbaijan attains a great achievement, Armenia resorts to provocation.
“As usual, the recent provocation too received a deserved response from the Azerbaijani Army. Our army carried out a successful operation, pushing Armenia back to its place,” he added.
Later on, a minute of silence was observed in commemoration of the soldiers martyred in recent clashes with Armenian armed forces.
Note that, the meeting’s agenda includes 21 issues.
