Azerbaijani soldiers martyred in clashes with Armenian troops laid to rest
Azerbaijani soldiers, who heroically died during the clashes with Armenian armed forces on the night of April 4-5, have been laid to rest in their hometowns.
Azerbaijani servicemen, lieutenant colonel Raguf Orujov and senior lieutenant Rashid Mehdiyev, ensign Orkhan Humbatov, re-enlistees Murad Mammadov and Zeynal Damirli, soldiers Teymur Gasimov and Omar Jabrayilov have been buried today in their hometowns.

The funerals were attended by the bereaved families and friend, officials of the Defense Ministry, the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, law-enforcement authorities, representatives of the public and locals.

Different slogans such as “Martyrs, they do not die (they are immortal), homeland (land, our land) is indivisible” were chanted during the funerals.

The three colored flags draped over the coffins were handed to bereaved relatives.
