The Parliament’s Committee on Regional Affairs has today discussed the draft changes and amendments to the Law on Status of municipalities.
Chairman of the Committee Arif Rehimzade said that the Article #43 of the Law is proposed to be added the following edited paragraph.
“Local taxes and payments are transferred via banks, postal services operator and cashless payment. Municipalities are prohibited from collecting taxes and payments in cash”.
The draft was recommended to the parliament’s plenary meeting.
