Germany proposes 7-point plan for Karabakh conflict settlement
Germany’s Foreign Ministry has suggested a seven-point plan which should help mitigate potential violence in Nagorno-Karabakh and find the path to a sustainable and peaceful solution to the conflict, a diplomatic source in the German Foreign Ministry told RIA Novosti.

"In fact, we are talking about strengthening the cease fire and peace settlement through dialogue as well as stabilization and confidence-building measures,” the source said, adding that the current status quo in the region is shaky in the long term and as the conflict remains, the risk of recurrent and increasingly mass violence on the contact line and the border between the two countries is increasing.

"The German Foreign Ministry will make extensive use of its OSCE chairmanship powers in this difficult situation,” said the source.
