On April 8, the process of taking the dead bodies of soldiers from the both sides remained on the battlefield was carried out with the mediation of the representatives of the OSCE and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Ilaha Huseynova, head of the public relations department of ICRC Representative to Azerbaijan told, AzVision.az reports.
`It`s impossible to give more information about the soldiers and corpses of which were picked up. Because our committee was only a mediator in the process. We are simply a facilitator. The operation was held with the mutual consent of the sides.`
Note, the agreement was reached on restoration of the ceasefire regime since 3:00 PM on April 8 on the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenian troops. Through the mediation of the OSCE and the International Committee of the Red Cross, the bodies of dead soldiers from both sides were recovered.
