The declaration in favor of nuclear disarmament was adopted by the foreign ministers of the Group of Seven (G7) on Monday after a meeting in Hiroshima.
The two-day ministerial meeting, which kicked off on Sunday, is part of preparations for the G7 leaders meeting due to be held between May 26-27 on an island in the Mie prefecture, near the city of Shima in Japan.
