EaP CSF appeals to Azerbaijani and Armenian civil society on recent fighting in Karabakh
"The recent outbreak of fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh brings to the fore the urgent need to resolve the conflict between your two countries in a peaceful, just and equitable way which will enable your countries to live in peace," the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF) has said in an appeal to Armenian and Azerbaijani civil society organizations (CSOs) that are part of the Forum-supported National Platforms.
“Peace among neighbors is one of the aims of the European Union which successfully settled age old conflicts in Europe allowing once hostile countries to live and work together,” the EaP CSF said in its appeal.

“We ask you to engage in dialogue to end this conflict and appeal to your respective governments to facilitate this dialogue. The Civil Society Forum will support you in all these endeavors,” added the EaP CSF.

The Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum was established in 2009 following the Prague Summit, which launched the Eastern Partnership. It aims to support the development of civil society organizations and facilitate their dialogue with public authorities.
