The three individuals released in Belgium had been taken into custody on Tuesday during a raid in Brussels` Uccle district.
"Within the case opened in the wake of the Paris attacks of November 13, 2015, the three persons who were arrested for questioning yesterday... have been released by the investigating judge," said Eric Van der Sypt, a spokesman for Belgium`s federal prosecutors.
The raids were part of a growing crackdown in the Belgian capital, which is believed to be the home base for the "Islamic State" cells that carried out terror attacks in Paris and Brussels.
A string of recent arrests, including that of Mohamed Abrini, the so-called "man in the hat" seen at the Brussels airport, and Paris suspect Salah Abdeslam, has shed further light on the network of jihadis linked to IS.
Arrests in Germany
Meanwhile, German prosecutors said Wednesday that three men had been arrested on Sunday in Ulm on suspicion of providing money to "Islamic State" and seeking to join it in Syria.
Prosecutors in Stuttgart said the three men, a 25-year-old German national and two Turkish citizens aged 20 and 25, were suspected of sending money made from distributing the Quran, to IS members.
The men are currently in custody pending charges and are prohibited from leaving Germany.
