Baku, Yerevan discuss return of six occupied regions - Nalbandian
Armenian Foreign Minister Eduard Nalbandian made a sensational statement.

Answering the question of the Public Television of Armenia, the minister unveiled the subject of negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia on the Karabakh settlement, AzVision.az reports citing Armenian media.

`The working documents discussed by the parties are those which were the subject of consideration by the parties. The documents, on which the parties failed to achieve progress, are passed for storage to the OSCE central office in Vienna. "The Kazan document is the one which was not passed for keeping yet. All the rest comments are unnecessary`, the minister said.

The main principles of settlement must be signed in line with this document, after which Armenia and Azerbaijan would start over peace agreement with the mediation of Russia, the United States and France.

Then Yerevan must withdraw the occupational troops from the areas around Nagorno Karabakh, including Fizuli, Aghdam, Jabrail, Zangelan, Qubatli and Kelbajar regions, as well as 13 villages in Lachin. The security in these areas must be supported by international peacekeepers. A corridor connecting Armenia to Karabakh would be established in Lachin.

The legal status of Nagorno Karabakh must be defined through negotiations in several years with the provision of returning refugees. The main moment in the text of the document is that Baku and Yerevan refused to use force in settling disputes, in a legally binding form.
