ANAMA disarms UXOs in frontal villages
Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has started to disarm unexploded ordinances (UXO) in frontal villages.
ANAMA inspected the courtyards of houses in Terter district’s Gapanli village. Portable projectiles have been removed and neutralized, importable ammunition have been exploded on the spot.

Gapanli village is regularly exposed to fire of Armenians for many years. During the recent incidents, the village became the target of invaders. ANAMA employee Babek Mirzayev told APA that seven projectiles fell only in the courtyard of village resident Elnur Mammadov’s house. “Houses and auxiliary buildings fell into disrepair. As a flexible mobile operation group ANAMA, we have conducted operations in frontal village of Terter. We have inspected about hundred projectile holes. 36 UXOs have been neutralized”, said the ANAMA employee.

Mirzayev urged village residents to be careful and inform relevant bodies when seeing suspicious objects. “The operations are underway in Terter, Aghdam, Fuzuli, Goranboy districts”, he added.
