Armenians violate ceasefire with Azerbaijan using machine guns, mortar & grenade launchers -MoD
Armenian armed units violated the ceasefire with Azerbaijan 110 times in various parts of the contact line of troops in the last 24 hours using large-caliber machine guns, 60mm mortar and grenade launchers, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on Apr. 15.
Armenian Armed Units stationed on nameless heights and in the Paravakar and Berkaber villages of Armenian Republic’s Ijevan district opened fire at the positions of Azerbaijani Armed Forces located in Kohnegishlag village of Aghstafa district, on nameless heights and in Gizilhajili village of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh district.

Azerbaijani Army positions located on nameless uplands and in the Aghbulag and Alibeyli villages of Tovuz district were fired at by Armenian armed units stationed in the Chinari, Mosesgekh and Aygepar villages of Berd district.

Azerbaijani army positions located on nameless heights of Gedebey district also came under from Armenian positions located on nameless uplands of Krasnoselsk district.

Meanwhile, Armenian army opened fire from positions near the villages of Yarimja, Chilaburt of the Tartar district, Shikhlar, Bash Gervend, Javahirli, Sarijali, Kangarli, Novruzlu, Marzili, Yusifjanli of the Aghdam district, Kuropatkino of the Khojavand district, Garakhanbeyli, Horadiz, Gorgan, Ashagi Seyidahmadli villages of the Fuzuli district, Mehdili village of the Jabrayil district, as well as on nameless heights in the districts of Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavand, Fuzuli and Jabrayil districts.

In consideration of the operational situation, Azerbaijani Armed Forces carried out 118 regulatory strikes on Armenian positions.
