Magnitude 4.8 Earthquake Shakes Eastern Uzbekistan
A magnitude 4.8 earthquake took place on Saturday morning in eastern Uzbekistan, the country
The earthquake struck near the Central Asian state’s border with Kyrgyzstan. The tremors were felt in the cities of Tashkent, Ferghana and Namangan.

The quake was registered at the depth of over 6.2 miles, 99.4 miles to the east of Uzbekistan’s capital.

There were no immediate reports on casualties or damage.
