Fire Rages Over At Least 10,000 Square Feet in Western Moscow
A fire is raging in the western part of Moscow covering an area of 1,000 square meters (over 10,000 square feet), a representative of the Moscow Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry told RIA Novosti.
The blaze occurred at a warehouse and has spread to a nearby forest, the representative said.

A statement on the official Twitter account of the Moscow Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry says that the fire has covered an area of 1,500 square meters (over 16,000 square feet), according to preliminary estimates.

In a later tweet the emergencies authorities said that the fire had been contained and that its spread to a nearby forest was prevented.

There were no reports of casualties, the Moscow emergencies department added.
