Bahrain police block village after officer killed in bomb attack
Bahrain police banned residents from leaving the village of Karbabad north of the capital Manama amid an operation aimed to find those responsible for killing a police officer in a gasoline bomb attack, local media reported.
On Saturday, the Bahraini Interior Ministry said that a police officer died and two others were seriously injured after what it said was a terrorist attack in Karbabad.

According to the Al-Wasat newspaper, police closed all the exits from the village and the inhabitants are not allowed to leave.

The investigation into the attack is reportedly ongoing.
