Azerbaijani president expresses condolences to Emperor of Japan

Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev has expressed condolences to Akihito, Emperor of Japan.

"We were deeply saddened by the news of a heavy loss of life and large-scale destruction as a result of earthquakes that hit your country.

On the occasion of this tragedy, on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend my deep condolences to you, families and loved ones of those who died and the whole people of Japan, and wish those injured the swiftest possible recovery".
