In order to protect rights of consumers, the sales outlets will be controlled whether they registered IMEI codes and certified the devices or not. Measures will be taken about those who did not register the IMEI codes and certify the devices under the legislation of Azerbaijani Republic.
Purchasers may enter www.imei.az, www.e-gov.az websites, call to or send IMEI code to 1677 to check whether their devices have been registered or not.
By dialling *#06#, the users may know their IMEI code.
