Statement reads:
“Stability in the South Caucasus is of strategic significance for Germany. The recent re-inflammation of the military conflict in the region of Nagorno-Karabakh with many casualties should urge the International Community that a peaceful solution has to be found. No military confrontation can bring about a sustainable solution and both conflict sides have to comply by the ceasefire. Moreover, the Minsk group is called for more than ever, in order to achieve an ending of the conflict by respecting the relevant UN resolutions and the international mediation regulations”.
