Margvelashvili receives Azerbaijani,Turkish MPs
Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili received the delegations of the Foreign Relations Committees of the Azerbaijani and Turkish parliaments November 28.
The sides discussed issues of regional cooperation and the role of parliaments in the development of relations among Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey, the Georgian presidential administration told.

Particular attention was paid to the trade-economic relations, energy and infrastructure issues, as well as regional security issues.

Azerbaijani and Turkish MPs once again expressed support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia. They emphasized the unacceptability of signing the so-called treaty of alliance between Russia and Abkhazia.

The Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Georgian parliament Tedo Japaridze, National Security Council Secretary Irina Imerlishvili, head of the presidential administration Davit Pataraia and presidential advisers Tengiz Pkhaladze and Giorgi Abashishvili also attended the meeting.
