Seyed Mohammad Hossein Adeli said 17 member states of GECF are interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has reveived Secretary General of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum Seyed Mohammad Hossein Adeli.
Adeli informed the President about the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), AzVision.az reports.
He said that 17 member states of GECF are interested in the cooperation with Azerbaijan. Adeli emphasized Azerbaijan’s great potential in this field and expressed confidence that our country would play an important role in the global gas market.
President Aliyev said that Azerbaijan has huge gas reserves and natural gas is being successfully transported by different routes. The Head of State expressed his confidence that the cooperation with Gas Exporting Countries Forum would serve the development of bilateral relations with the member states.
The sides exchanged views on prospects for cooperation.
