The Alliance’s is aimed at restoring peace throughout the world, according to the BSEC chief.
“We will further step up our efforts in this direction. What we have done is insufficient,” Christides said. “The Alliance’s activity in this area is highly important. We see much popularism and xenophobia in life.”
The refuge and migrant problems continue, especially in Europe, he said noting that peace cannot be achieved in a day.
Furthermore, he stressed the need to pay attention to education in order to build an inclusive society.
Crucial steps will further continue to preserve cultural diversity and normalize interfaith relations, the BSEC chief added.
