Women thrown off flight after joking about having a bomb`
TWO women have been kicked off an easyJet flight to Barcelona after one joked that she was a suicide bomber.
The morning flight from Belfast was disrupted by the women who had been drinking before boarding the plane.

A video taken by a fellow traveller shows the boozy women being taken off the airplane once they touched down in Barcelona.

The rowdy twosome were accused of becoming abusive to their fellow passengers, as well as cabin crew.

According to the Belfast Telegraph, the pair were flying out to Spain to celebrate a 50th birthday.

It is thought that the pair are from Londonderry.

One witness told the Belfast Telegraph: “When the two got on you could tell they had been drinking.

“Then they started verbal abuse and saying ‘We are all here for a f****** party’.

“They shouted at her and then the brunette was joking when she was going to the toilet and said ‘I’m a suicide bomber, sure I am’.”

The witness said that the women insisted on playing loud music during the flight and refused to turn it off when asked.

The women got upset when cabin crew refused to sell alcohol to them and the witness said that one woman made rude hand gestures to the staff.

Children on board reportedly burst into tears over the commotion.

Another woman in the group said that the pair weren’t being abusive.

She said: "We are all the one party. They knew rightly she had a drink in her.

"She didn`t abuse anybody and didn`t annoy anybody around her.

"There was no need for it. I have 24 witnesses she was not abusive. This is ridiculous."

An easy Jet spokesman told MailOnline Travel: `easyJet can confirm that flight EZY6671 from Belfast to Barcelona was met by police on arrival in Barcelona due to two passengers on board behaving in a disruptive manner.

"Whilst such incidents are rare we take them very seriously and do not tolerate abusive or threatening behaviour on board.

"easyJet’s cabin crew are trained to assess and evaluate all situations and to act quickly and appropriately to ensure that the safety of the flight and other passengers is not compromised at any time.

"The safety and wellbeing of passengers and crew is always easyJet`s priority."
