Yerevan holds march against Armenia`s accession to EAU
The members of the Armenian party "Ayazn" accompanied by a group of activists gathered at Freedom Square in Yerevan and moved to the building of the National Assembly of Armenia, Armenianreport says.

The activists plan to deliver a letter with an "appeal to think better" to 131 MPs.

In a letter, the activists urge MPs not to ratify the treaty of Armenia’s accession to the the Eurasian Economic Union (EAU), calling it criminal.

Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan signed the treaty on the EAU establishment in May and ratified it. The EAU will be established on January 1, 2015.

An agreement on Armenia’s joining was signed in Minsk on October 10.

The Eurasian Economic Union (EAU) is an economic union. It will be established on the basis of the Customs Union of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus as part of the Eurasian integration from January 1, 2015.
