She said: “Sometimes when I read international news on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, it feels like they portray it as a game: shots were fired, both sides claim to have inflicted damage on the other, and both sides deny having suffered casualties. But this conflict is a tinderbox! It is very unfortunate that there has not been any real dialogue for years.”
“The EU issues statements that always sound the same: please de-escalate the conflict, respect the cease fire, we hate to see loss of life and so on.”
“I think the international community should do more. Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is a threat to security in the Caucasus and to whole Europe as well. I very much in hope that this conflict will end in a peaceful way and both nations will be in friendly neighborhood relations,” Pantu added
