Azerbaijani hostage`s family to appeal to Putin for third time
Dilgam Asgarov`s family will appeal to Putin again about Dilgam who was taken as a hostage by Armenian occupants in 2014, Kalbajar hostage`s son Kurdoglu Asgarov told to AzVision.az.

Dilgam`s son noted, his family is worried after the recent conditions on the frontline. He told: `My father has a russian citizenship. It is the duty of Russian government to defend his rights. He is married with a Russian woman in Perm province. They lived together for a long period of time. Besides, we have other documents, which prove his russian citizenship`.

`We have sent written appeals to the Russian President Vladimir Putin for two times. Then we have appealed to the Russian Embassy to Azerbaijan. I have stated that my father, Dilgam Asgarov is a citizen of Russian. Importantly, the Russian government should take measures to liberate him. They have not responded to our written appeals yet. We want to meet with the Russian President`, K.Asgarov added.

Note that, in July of 2014, Russian citizen Dilgam Asgarov and Azerbaijani citizen Shahbaz Guliyev were taken hostage and another Azerbaijani citizen Hasan Hasanov was shot to death by the Armenian servicemen while trying to visit their homeland in Kalbajar. Hasan Hasanov`s body was taken from the enemy and buried in Baku. On December 19, 2014, the “court” of the separatist regime in occupied Nagorno-Karabakh sentenced Dilgam Asgarov to life in prison, Shahbaz Guliyev to 22 years in prison.
