President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received newly-elected Secretary General of the International Telecommunication Union Houlin Zhao.
Azerbaijan’s huge achievements in the information and communication technologies sector were hailed during the meeting.
The importance of annual BakuTel-2014 Azerbaijan International Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition and growing interest in the event was emphasized.
The parties expressed confidence that the exhibition will contribute to the expansion of international cooperation in this area.
The sides also discussed cooperation prospects.
