According to Article No. 3.2 of the Law “On mobilization preparedness and mobilization in Azerbaijan”, Azerbaijani president’s decision on mobilization shall be immediately spread by media outlets or, should it be impossible, by other means.
The State Service for Mobilization and Conscription is regularly summoning reserve forces to local administrations, departments and units.
At the present, due to the completion of conscription in April, military commissariats are currently carrying out registration of the military duties of those discharged from active military service. At the same time, data on reserve resources are being specified.
The State Service’s duty is to register military conscripts and those military liable, specify and check reserve resources (manpower and transport).
In the case of mobilization, the media will be informed of it and those discharged from active military service will be called to the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription’s offices in relevant places for them to know of their appointment during mobilization and war.
