Azerbaijan to take part in European Conference of Presidents of Parliaments

Azerbaijan to take part in European Conference of Presidents of Parliaments

The European Conference of Presidents of Parliaments will be held in Strasbourg, France at the Council of Europe, the message posted on the website of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) said May 4.

Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker Ogtay Asadov is expected to have a speech at the conference.

During the meeting, which is to be held September 15-16, the participants will discuss a number of relevant political issues, the cooperation of national parliaments and the Council of Europe, mobilization of parliaments against racism.

The conference will be opened by PACE President Pedro Agramunt and Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjorn Jagland.
