One hospitalized after small plane lands on roof in California
One person was hospitalized and another evaluated at the site of a small plane crash near the Western US city of Los Angeles, California, local media reported.
A four-seat Piper Aircraft landed onto a roof in Pomona mid-Sunday en route to Brackett Field Airport 4 miles to the north, NBC News Los Angeles reported.

The plane was described as “slightly wedged” into the roof after the crash-landing.

The scale of the hospitalized individual’s injuries is not reported, the outlet cited LA County Fire officials as saying.

No immediate information was available as to why the pilot was forced to land on top of the roof or how many people in total were inside the light aircraft.
