Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan comments on reports about Putin`s  Baku visit
The Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan commented on the reports spread on the local media about Russian President Vladiir Putin`s visit to Azerbaijan.
`Currently, we have not information on it`, the Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan told in a special statement to AzVision.az.

However, the Diplomatic Mission not ruled out Putin`s visit to Azerbaijan.

`We closely follow the reports spread on the local media regarding Putin`s visit to Azerbaijan. We have not any precise information on the subject. We have nor received any information whether the visit will take place on May or not. We consider, it is early to speak about this`, the Diplomatic Mission said.

Note, today İnterFax news agency reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Azerbaijan,

Putin is expected to come at the end of May, 2016. The main theme of the visit is on the solution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

`Possibly, the visit aims to discuss the recent escalation of tension on the contact line of troops and the seeking peaceful ways of Karabakh conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia`, the source reports.

Putin`s visit to Yerevan is not ruled out.
