Solution of Karabakh conflict is not priority for US - unexpected statement by Matthew Bryza
The US does not want to play active role in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict solution process, the former US Ambassador to Azerbaijan and the former US co-hair of the OSCE Minsk Group, Matthew Bryza told, AzVision.az reports.

Russia plays quite active role in the conflict regulation process. During the last 20 years, the US President Barack Obama has never made any statement on the escalation of tension on the contact line. Thereby, the US enables Russia to take leadership in the region. This is a big mistake of the Washington administration, Bryza said.

US should make more efforts on solution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. However, it seems the solution of the problem is not priority for the US, he concluded.
